We are delighted to have been invited to attend and lead a workshop at the inaugural Oxford Education Conference, set up to discuss and come up with solutions for inequalities in the education system.
The conference has been organised by a committee of students and has received backing from the Oxford University Student Union and the Oxford Hub. A range of experts and campaigners from across the UK will be attending and speaking at the event alongside students. Other speakers will include Labour peer and former Education Minister Lord Andrew Adonis; and Rachel Maclean, Managing Director of Skills for Birmingham.
The event is being held at Pembroke College, Oxford, on 10 May 2014 and we will be hosting a breakout workshop in the afternoon on how the education system can prevent youth unemployment. More information can be found here and tickets can be obtained here.
